The thing about working in a speaker’s bureau is that our work constantly surrounds us. Our speaker clients are regularly on the news or making the news, the bestseller lists, winning awards, you name it. Our corporate and association client issues are the challenges and opportunities that face us all in leadership, business strategy, motivation and more.
Even when on lunch we’re working. I went out late afternoon yesterday to get a bite and was stopped in my tracks by a huge poster promoting the latest issue of Readers Digest. The June issue features ‘Canadians You Trust’. I was thrilled to see one of our clients George Stroumboulopoulos on the cover and hoped I was likely to see more inside, so I bought a copy right away.
In reviewing the article, I’m proud to note that NSB represents more trusted Canadians than any other agency in our industry, including:
David Suzuki
Gen Rick Hillier (ret’d)
Stephen Lewis
George Stroumboulopoulos
Ron MacLean
Rex Murphy
Roberta Bondar
And more…
(BTW while David Suzuki was #1, #2 was The Queen. Maybe someday we’ll rep her too
